Clip to ScrapBook
I've noticed that the home schooled children tend to expect different rules/regulations than non home schooled children. First I notice they expect immediate attention and feedback almost hand holding to work. They have not developed the independence many of our children have. It's like they expect us to spoon feed them the answers. I wonder how it is they pass these state tests. Are they given at a test site or in the home? I think it would be easy to help too much on a home test...I've also noticed some lack of social skills when dealing with peers.
Good luck with your child....I hope the parents don't think you are not doing your job...but then again if they do maybe they'll just home school him some more and your problem will be solved.
