You are correct! The only way to survive is to leave the job at work. I know papers have to be corrected, workshops attended, etc. When you are finished with them, be finished. Our problem is that we care at work and we care at home and there are administrators ready and waiting to take advantage of our best qualities to their own advantage. There is another life ! Don't let your work invade your life. You will be better off in the long run. Learn to say NO. Have a great teaching career, but have an even better life. I have been teaching for 28 years and I am just now learning to do what I am suggesting. Good luck.
