The weather?

OK, is it the weather or are all of our kids experiencing some freaky phenomenon together? I, too, had a near-tear experience and they laughed. So, we put the desks in straight rows, they are not allowed to sit around the room to read, I have "banned" group activities for the rest of the week (which I hate because I know they can learn so much from each other.) I hate walking into my classroom and having it that way, but there is such little learning going on, that I can't be a decent teacher!
