crazy kids
By Melissa

Clip to ScrapBook
I know exactly what you mean. Our kids have gone completely nuts at this point of the year. Mine just plain won't shut up, even when I am teaching and trying to get their attention. Even with rewards for the good kids
and punishment for the bad ones. Other teachers I have talked with tell me that they, too, have a lot of problems with their kids now. One third grade teacher told me at lunchtime that she got disgusted with her kids, told them that she was stepping out in the hallway for a moment, and she hoped that they were a different class when she came back in!

I have basically told the parents,

through a note home, that I have had all I will tolerate. The kids will toe a straight and narrow line or they will find themselves in the office.

No, you're not nuts. We're right there with you. You do have company.
