I, too, teach in MS. Things are bad in my district also. We have a brand new high school being built, but my campus SUCKS!!!!!! Two years ago we were promised our auditorium would be air-conditioned. Needless to say, we still burn up in May!! The superientendent doesn't mind because he's sitting in his nice, cool office. I get so frustrated with things. Our library has NO furniture. Our children sit on the floor and we wonder why there's discipline problems. No structure what so ever. Your assistant is really being screwed..I know no one wants to say anything because jobs are so hard to come by, but something sounds totally illegal here!!! Call WLBT the Jackson TV station and get 3 on your side. They investigate wrong doings.
