laziness
By Melissa

Clip to ScrapBook
Many kids are lazy. They don't want to do anything that can't be done in five minutes. Hurry up and get it done is their motto. On-going projects are too much work for them. They procrastinate when they are given anything that takes more than one day to do. They fail, because they don't take enough responsibility for their learning. They don't study for tests. Rather, they rely upon the teacher to help them review. They want you to give them answers, rather than their finding them themselves. If this sounds like your class, it probably describes a lot of kids, including mine. I don't have any answers, but I do understand the problem.
