I can't help you with the Trailblazer problem, but if you think it's terrible, maybe it couldn't hurt to change. As for Captain Underpants - I won't tell my kids to not read it, but I'm certainly not a fan of the series. It's full of the "Rude and Crude" that kids love. I don't mind that, but the stories are full of purposely misspelled words and incorrect grammar. Unfortunately, because of their high interest, it is my low readers that gravitate toward these books. The very ones who do not need to be exposed to the wrong spelling and grammar, sentence structure, etc.
