Clip to ScrapBook
I have a once a month video day in which I show an educational video and yes I use this time too to get caught up. Usually too before breaks we do an organizational day in which I involve the students to organize the room
with me we pack stuff I bring in for projects that accumulate such as coffee cans, bags, and all the other junk you find that you can recycle. We dust, clean out desks, etc... This helps me out a lot. You are so lucky though that you have trained your students to be independent. I need to work on that one. I find that so many times when I do sit at a table and work on paperwork that
is when little behaviors start and off task behaviors, my students do so much better when I am supervising them they do not get away with the little stupid things like touching and talking just off task things that go on. How do you handle these situations. No I do not do direct teaching all the time I just play cop I guess. What is your advice?
