WE had three teachers at our school work towards NBC,and one of them passed. It is quite a bit of work, with numerous categories to complete. Our district pays $7,500 more per year to all of those who pass it, so that's quite an incentive for our teachers to do so. The two teachers at my school who didn't pass will try again. If you're lucky, your school district will pay the money that it costs to participate.
