Ooooh, I hate to be yelled at. I don't know what I would have done in your situation. I think you are very mature and calm to have handled it so well.

I agree with Cathy-Dee about taking your complaint up a level if
possible. This individual is making some pretty poor choices for the students in his care. He is also in danger of losing even more of his staff. I have worked for a couple of principals who has similar stellar "people skills" and they both lost more than half their staff in two years. The one principal encouraged teachers to quit so he could hire others who were easier for him to manipulate.
(It was ugly, but that's a different story.) Could your principal have some kind of hidden agenda?

You and your partner are true professionals and, of course, you will be ok in the long run. It's just so darned unfair for the kids.
