Wow, I here I thought I was alone. Teachers I think tend to be chatty etc but I can understand where you are coming from. I am at a new school this year. It is a small rural setting compared to my previous city schools. Here there are cliques that "run" the school and spread gossip. I was shocked at first now I am very sad. Someone else called it tattling I call it playing politics...it is going on all over. I try to distance myself..but it is hard. I just have to keep reminding myself that we do this for the kids!!! They matter!! Do your best to focus on them...not everything else.
