Weather Station
By Lori 2

Clip to ScrapBook
When my eldest daughter was in first grade we made a "weather station" in her classroom. We made barometers, thermometers, and rain gauges out of plastic soda and water bottles. You can make another type of barometer with a balloon and and a jar to compare. Disposable drinking cups and an empty ice cream tub can make an anemometer. You can also make a wind vane easily.

If this sounds like something you might want to try and you need directions I can send them to you.

Lori
