Earthquakes
By Lori 2

Clip to ScrapBook
Janice Van Cleave has a book of simple experiments called Earthquakes: Mind-boggling Experiments You Can Turn Into Science Fair Projects. There are several experiments in the books which demonstrate the motion of the earth during an earthquake. Also, Bill Nye has a show in which he demonstrates teutonic plates by floating pieces of something on a "molten liquid" -- just water in an large chafing dish, but the heat creates some movement of the water which creates movement of the "plates."

Hope that helps.
