Clip to ScrapBook
This is also my first year teaching science at the elementary level. I am having my first graders do an activity called the life cycle of a snowman. It will cover the water cycle and the 3 states of water ( solid, liquid, gas). They will use a metric ruler to draw a snowman of 8 cm, then their snowman will start to melt and they draw a 6cm and 4 cm snowman. Last phase is a puddle which evaporated into the clouds before it snows again. Incorporate temperature readings and you're all set
