Endangered Species
By Ann W.

Clip to ScrapBook
I have had my third graders, and will have my fifth graders, write a letter to Congress asking for laws to be developed, changed, or enforced for the species studied. This worked well because it integrated letter writing with persuasive writing. Children had to use facts from their report along with opinions that they developed during their study. The children did a great job and we got a response a couple of months later. Good luck!
