Just what I've been looking for...
By Sharon D. W.L

Clip to ScrapBook
Hello all. We too are looking for practical math materials. We have the Math Steps program (Nelson) this year but the grade one level is not happy with it. One grade two teacher loves it. The others don't seem thrilled
with it. Betty mentioned The Rodeo Chaps
www.rodeochaps.com
We have ordered a lot of Science materials from them resently based on a grade two teacher's recommendation. She really likes what she saw at a conference. I'll check with her on the math and see what she thinks. Betty what specifically did you find useful from Roedo Chaps? I have their Fall/Winter 2001-2002 pamphlet.
It mentions Task cards For Math and Straight Arrow Math Mastery. I am also considering the Social studies units from RC as well.

Does anyone know where I can get ordering information on eduguide, Math to the Max and the Marilyn Burns resources mentioned? I think I might order the grade one math from the Primary Success web site as well for math fact practice. Any other suggestions are welcome.

Thanks
sdwl
