I can understand your situation but the best advice I can give you is to be assertive. If the coop is not providing what you need, you have to speak up. I know this is not easy, but very often, the coop is as nervous about you being in her room as you are. If she does not know what to do, someone needs to tell her, and the someone should be you. Also, discuss lessons and techniques with her BEFORE conducting them, so that if your teachings styles clash, she won't be given any surprises. Communication is the key if you want to settle the matter without having to switch teachers. If our purpose is to accommodate the needs of our students, we must also be sure to accommodate our own needs.
