What I got from my coop
By Amy

Clip to ScrapBook
I just finished my student teaching and had a wonderful cooperating teacher. Here are the things that she did for me that I most appreciated.
1. Made me feel welcome in the classroom by treating me like another teacher.
The students respected me because she respected me. She never treated me as a guest or an intruder in her classroom. It always felt like our classroom.

2. Gave me constant feedback. She always gave me suggestions on lessons and on my classroom management. She told me when I did a good job and gave me suggestions when I needed them. I never had to ask her opinion on my teaching

because she always offered it in a posititive way.

3. She was a wonderful model of what I want to be as a teacher. She was always positive in her feedback and praise of students. She treated each child as an individual and made time for students who needed extra help or support.

Hope these help and that your experience is as wonderful as mine was!
