My Opinion

As I was student teaching, I took a Phonics class. I found this class to be very meaningful and I feel this is due to the immediate application of the subject matter. I guess what I'm trying to say is to start teaching and to take classes along with teaching. Personally, I would think you'd get much more out of it this way. On the other hand, I have heard this is quite difficult to do, especially during your first couple of years. Good luck!
