Sometimes its Ok to have fun!
By Sammie

Clip to ScrapBook
I have been in classrooms where the teacher teaches the lesson very serously, she/he usually loses the kids within the first few minutes. It sad to say, but kids today are in constant need of stimulation. Children respond to visuals because they live in a very visual world. There is nothing wrong with being a serious teacher, but sometimes you have to have a little fun in your lesson. The other day I taught a reveiw lesson on adjectives, I didn't use many visuals, but my tone and excitment during the lesson kept the lesson fun and intersting to the students. You may not need to change your teaching style, but maybe you could show more enthusiasm during your teaching. I can tell you from my experince it works wonders with the kids! Good Luck
