how horrible

Clip to ScrapBook
Marianne, My heart goes out to you right now. I understand and remember how important those evaluations and especially those comments are when you were starting out.

Becasue of the confidentiality of the report you
are really not in a position to do much of anything right now. However, if your review is that bad, your college superviso may come to you and ask you about her comments. I would say exactly the same things that you said in you post.. except the catty part. You want to defend yourself and your teaching- not place the blame on someone else.

Also, if you didn't deserve these comments

your next evaluation will reflect this. Just make sure that you doing a bang up job and get it just about perfect.

One question.. these reports... you will never see them? Do you have any controll about what goes into your file? If you this report is ever brought to your attention... ask if you may place a letter to go along with it stating why these comments are unjust and why.

One finall note...if nothing else, this report and the next one should show tremendous growth in your ability to be a good teacher. Keep your head up and a smile on your face. Keep me posted on what happens.
Jackie
