yes and no

I hope not to come across too negatively, but I do have an important thought on this post-- I did student teach abroad, but not at a miltary base. I found there to be both pros and cons to this situation. Obviously, the opportunity and different experience are amazing in and ofthemselves. However, please realize that you may be dealing with different educational philosophies and policies in some respects-- great for enlightenment and perspective, but you may also miss out on something that would have been important for you to see/do. I am a double major, so I was able to student teach one semester here and one there, but otherwise, I would have had to seriously consider whether or not to do it.
