behavior management help
By Sherri

Clip to ScrapBook
I am currenty student teaching in the first grade. I don't know how well this would work with fourth grade, but I'm using index cards with the students names on them. Each day, I pass out the cards and if they get three stickers within one lesson, they get a prize at the end. Prizes could be anything. I've also done a plan with fourth graders where we used a behavior buck system. Each time they were good or did their assignments for homework, they got a dollar. At the end of the week, they were allowed to spend their bucks at the class "store". It really doesn't cost too much if you're careful what you buy and make your prices high. Hope this helps a little bit.
