constellation project
By J

Clip to ScrapBook
I do not have the specifics, but I am sure someone out there can help, but there is a really neat project out there where students punch holes in black construction paper with the tip of a push pin to create a constellation--they copy the pattern from a book that has pictures of the constellations. Then you put their black paper on the overhead and project the image up onto the ceiling--a magical constellation appears! I remember doing this when I was in fourth grade over 20 years ago! But if someone has the specific details, it could be a great lesson opener. Try posting your question on the science board, too. Maybe someone there has more ideas. Good luck, I'm sure your unit will be great.
