Nothing to do
By AM

Clip to ScrapBook
I don't see a problem with it except if another teacher saw you with nothing to do he/she might complain that you were just "wondering around". I have felt this way many times. I have even gone to the office and asked for
something to do, usually after school, and they seem put out by that. It is as if they do not want the responsibility of finding something for me to do. They also don't want to tell me to go home early in case they get in trouble. I have even been told to go back to my room and sit and wait for the time to pass until it is time to go home.

I suppose if you were wondering you could

say you were looking for someone or you could stop by people's rooms to see if they needed help if they are not teaching at the time. The bottom line is that if a crabby teacher wants to get you in trouble he/she may be just as likely to complain that you were sitting in your room as if you were wondering the halls. So I say do what you want. Act like you are headed somewhere and I doubt anyone will care.
