Seating Charts
By AM

Clip to ScrapBook
I sub in K-6 classes so I don't know if this will work, but I will try. I was thinking maybe you could have a student who seems to be capable take roll. This way they know the student's real names. Maybe you could also choose a student to make a seating chart based on where the students are actually sitting. This way you have the student's names and if they choose to move at that point at least you know who you are talking to. I have done this in 4-6th grade and it works well. There are still many kids who want to help. I don't know about jr. high and high school. Those guys scare me. Hope that helps a little.
