preps for subs

I don't mind helping out if it's needed and I'm not told rudely what to do. I think that subs should have preps, to correct papers, get lessons ready,etc. It's been my experience that subs are taken advantage of, like we are seen as not deserving of a break because we are not "teachers". I have experienced times where I was sent all over the school without a moment to catch my breath, and I don't think it's fair. Subs are often treated like slaves-sorry to use the word, but it's true. I always worry when I'm sent to schools that take advantage of me.
