And you were probably glad that you'll never have to go back!

I agree that a class that is well-behaved for the regular teacher will probably be reasonably well-behaved for the substitute, although there are exceptions.
I have known a couple of classes of angels at school who really let loose when there's sub in the classroom.

If you do want to return to that school, I'd make sure that you have a rebuttal to the charges against you. You should file a detailed report to the principal to describe the conditions EXACTLY as you had to deal with them. Maybe he'll have a better understanding of them.

Hopefully, he won't turn his negative report into Personnel. You might want to find out about that. If he did, you might want to enclose a copy of it for them. Just another thought.
