Building subs

I was recently hired as a building sub/long term sub. I have an interesting position. I teach Math and science to the same first graders in the afternoon and in the morning I cover for whoever needs me. I am "based" at
an elem. that is divided into 2 parts-primary/intermediate. (k-2 and 3-4 respectively). I am at either end of the school each and every day (guaranteed full time pay) except on the rare occassion when another school within the district needs me. So far I have only had to go to one other school, the 5/6 grade building. I am dreading the call to the HS which is 7-12. As for the job.

I love it! I wouldn't want to be any where else. I think my major attraction to the job is the school/students/staff, not the position per se. I am, in fact applying for a position that recently opened up in the same building. So wish me luck.
My advice though, I love the job...now if I just had insurace I would be in heaven! lol! Pay is REALLY NICE though!
