Being Fun (?)

Why not ask the kids what, in particular, did the regular teacher do that made things "Fun"? If they are older students, I'd go for them writing it (no names necessary). Then I'd look them over and think about how to incorporate some of them, maybe a bit revised, into my teaching methods. It might begin to let them understand that you can be flexable too, since you're asking them to be.Then again, maybe not.
