Thanks to both of you. I did ask her if she has ever talked about this with a councellor, she had said no. I think the idea of asking the principal or the counceller is a good idea, thank you. I agree that there is a possibility that she wanted attention, but somehow, with this child, the way her face went so red when she asked for the note back, and how she was afraid at first to talk about this to me, I am not sure if that is the case. But you never know. I am going to this school on tuesday, and will see what I can do. I really appreciate your advise, as a new teacher sometimes I am not sure of the protecol that is involved. I guess that is why I enjoy this site so much! Thanks you guys!
