guidance needed

Until recently, I was a teacher of this population of students. I find it absolutely atrocious to think any school district would dump you into that classroom like that, if for no reason other than the fact that you AND| the children were placed in physical danger. I don't know if this class doesn't have a para (it should) or if he/she just also out that day, but you should never have been left in that room alone,ot without being primed on the philosphy/needs/progression of consequences/etc. Having been there myself, I ASSURE YOU, YOU ARE RIGHT TO FEEL UNPREPARED FOR THIS SITUATION. ask you to sub in this room, I would suggest you respond that you might like to do it again in the future, but would insistt upon having further training/guidane first.
