Bad words that slip out...

Now...I don't think anybody that's posting on here is purposely letting "bad" words fly in the classroom. Geez...they certainly slip out unexpectedly on occassion, and I'm fairly sure that more of us than not have been the guilty culprits in this scenario.

A principal that I work for has admitted to this same scene...accidently saying "s**t" when she meant to say shoot. She went on as if nothing happened, completely ignoring her remark, and the students who thought they heard her say a dirty word began to think they misheard because she never acknowledged her mistake.

Yes, we're professionals, but we're human too. Mistakes to happen.
