Yes, I did once! I think I have accidentally caught myself doing it again another year. Sometimes when there's a lot of noise or confusion in the room, I may stumble over my words. I did say to a boy once, "Please __it down," instead of "Please sit down." Fortunately, nobody noticed. They were too busy chatting away while I was trying to settle them. LOLAs an aside: One year I worked with a teacher by the name of Hendershot. I don't know why, but when I was talking with a group of teachers, I accidentally said his name as "Hender__it." That was so embarrassing. I must have turned six shades of red while the teachers laughed their heads off. I just wanted to crawl under the carpet.
