Thanks for answering the survey. When I saw that you were the only sub who responded that you were paid less than $50 a day, I had a feeling you lived in the south. I don't know why, since I teach in rural NH, and the subs make very little here, too. I can't believe they made you pay for the fingerprinting and did not reimburse you for your time, either! I think things would be a lot better for everyone if substitutes were treated like professionals and paid well. Then there could be high expectations for their performance. Peg
