Middle School Challenges
By Circe-Southern California

Clip to ScrapBook
Although most subs seem to prefer primary grades I kind of like 6th-8th. I'm 25 so that seems to help. They seem to relate. Some teaching methods that I use are...
1. Find the coolest kid in the class (sometimes the most talkative) talk with them between periods and let them know you need their help. That they are a role model and you need them to have a successful day.
2. If i'm having problems with the smart kids finishing work too early, then I match them up with the slower kids.
The FREE TIME response was great. I'll have to use that one.
Good luck
