SubFinder vs...
By Jerry

Clip to ScrapBook
I have mixed feelings on this. I signed up for two districts, one uses an automated system the other has a person doing the calling. I seem to be on a good basis with the person calling, but I get about 75% of my jobs via
the automated system. When I don't get a call, I think others have "jumped in" and called the automated system, and I'm not on as good a basis as I thought with the person. But, it seems it all comes out in the wash, as I have been specifically requested by both systems at times. A couple of times I have stayed an extra few days at a school (to keep the kids from having a "parade of subs"
come through, and that has, I believe, endeared me to the teachers, administration, and secretaries of those schools, and I get most of my preferred calls from them. Most of my 5:00am calls come from the person, not the automated system.Jn
