Shopping for jobs

In both districts that I have subbed for, the systems did not start calling out until 5 pm, which was when I started calling in. (Although sometimes the system did make calls in the earlier afternoon, this was rare and I have no idea why this happened.) I usually called between 5 and 6:30 pm. I basically devoted myself to this task until I had a job. I called every 2-5 minutes until I had something. I usually had a job by 5:30, although sometimes I had to go until 6:30. (I did this while watching tv or on the exercise bike on my portable phone). I did occasionally try to call before 5, but never had any luck with this system.I hope this helps you!
