Clip to ScrapBook
HI
i AM IN cALIFORNIA AND THE ONLY WAY TO GET HIRED IS TO SUBSTITUTE. i HAVE ALL THE QUALIFICATIONS TO BE A LIBRARY MEDIA TEACHER BUT LACK TEACHING IN THE SCHOOL DISTRICT. i WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO APPLIED SINCE THE POSITION
HAS BECOME AVAILABLE IN sEPTEMBER. tHEY WANT ME TO SUBSTITUTE FOURTH AND FIFTH GRADE TO GET CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT SKILLS. tHE SKILLS YOU ARE GETTING WILL MAKE YOU MORE MARKETABLE. yOU CAN START E-MAILING THE TEACHER YOU ARE SUBSTITUTING FOR TO OPEN UP COMMUNICATION TO SEE IF SHE'S GOT ANY PLANS OF RETURNING. iF NO ONE HAS HEARD ANYTHING FROM HER/HIM THEN ACT LIKE YOUR GOT THE JOB. dON'T
LET THIS MAKE THIS STRESS YOU OUT.It sounds like your doing a great job and the district will be happy to find you another job if she returns.Keep putting in the extra effort.
