When I first started subbing I thought I am never going to get called again because I said no. Then when I wasn't kept busy by one division I signed up for 2 more. Now all three call me all the time, the first one through is the one I say yes to. They can't expect me to be loyal to one division if I am not being called 5 days a week. So now I don't have problems saying - no sorry I'm already booked today. What I hate is saying yes to the first division and the next one that calls is at a school I like, or I said yes to a half day when the next division offers me a full day. You just never know. Don't worry about it, everywhere they are always complaining that they are short teachers, so they are short subs, they need YOU,and will be calling.
