discipline
By Pam

Clip to ScrapBook
As a teacher especially in an inner city school, setting boundaries is always a good thing. Many children today don't have parents who set any boundaries or rules in their homes. My personal philosophy is children crave boundaries. They need to know the rules and have consequenses for their actions. Having a "strictness" about you will only earn you the respect you deserve. Being supportive is great and all of us need to be there in certain situations, but when it comes to discipline you need to set the boundary and have a consequense. You may find that when you become known around the school as a sub you will have less discipline problems.
