Hello,As an experienced teacher in Ontario I would suggest you using a point system for the children. That is put them in groups if they are not and any time they do something well eg. listening,answering questions, | behaving responsibly etc they get so many points. At the end of the day the teams that have earned a total of x amt of amounts can have extra gym with you or have some paly time art time etc at the end of the day the last period in the day. I have used this system and it works well. You determine the amount of points and explain this to the children. If you have a black board space, | | points could be put under their group name on the board. Students can tabulate these points.This works well with students in grades 2 to 6. Good luck!
