I think you're right about the requirements in Michigan, lightning bug....my roommate subbed for a year and never had any intention of teaching, just was a good job at the time for her. She had the 90 credits and did the background check, but was not pursuing a education degree. The only thing I'm not sure is whether it makes a difference if your credits come from a 4-year institution or a Comm. College. I think it may...????
