1:1 aide
By Liz

Clip to ScrapBook
In the past I used the arguement that the student tends to get too dependant on the aide. That has been my experience, it also gets to be a lot on you. I also find that I tend to rely on the aide more to work with this student and don't always feel I give them my attention. Again tell the parents that the student is doing well without the 1:1 support. Why give him a crutch when he or she does not need one. I am being honest they do tend to depend on the aides too much and isn't our goal to make them independant???? Hope this helps.
