Thanks for your answers..I wouldn't be that worried if she didn't try that hard... She turned 6 in May, she is in 1st grade. And her general attitude is really mature, very autonomous, sensible. When it comes to writing a
story, she has thousands of things to say, lots of ideas but she can't write a single word ( not even copying from the Word wall)But she says she wants to write a whole page. Then the next day she will write 3 or 4 related words.. Same with spelling test. She really tries and she is quite competitive, always keeps working until the bell. Sometimes she comes to me and whispers' I want to
write this but right now I can't remember...' And yes, her dad has noticed the same things as well as a friend of the family who works with her once or twice a week. She is also very good at 'echoing' anyone's answers... it took me a while to notice that she was just repeating words, not giving the answers... I really feel for her!
