New foods
By Michelle

Clip to ScrapBook
How about making a game of it? On a plate line up 10 bites of a favorite finger food (the popcorn would be great). Have him eat one piece at a time working his way across the line. Do this 3 or 4 times to give him the idea. Then, substitute one bite of a new food for one piece of popcord in the middle of the line.

Another possibility would be letting him feed you a bite of something and then you feed him a bite of something.

I would also try to do introduce the foods in small sessions just prior to lunch or at the end of the day. I would not do this in connection with a meal if you think there is any chance that eating could become a battle of the wills !
