Frustration
By Debora

Clip to ScrapBook
I have taught special education for over 20 years and it doesn't get any better. Administrators reflect the attitude of the general public and our society at large. It seems that as long as spec. educators stay out of sight,
everything is alright. Just let a student in your class have a problem, and it becomes just that, your problem! They seem to "sick" parents on you. But I have found the answer in my faith in Jesus Christ. He has shown me how to deal with teaching. First, I acknowledge Him as Lord and Savior. Then I ask him to guide me. It's day by day, but better than my old ways of worry.
I do my best and then I go home.. I set my own extension on time lines for reords. They get it when I give it to them prayerfully. My doctor advised me to slow down or else. "Don't sweat small stuff, and it's all small stuff".
