The ideas posted here are great. I might add telephone skills. Get some old phones of various types and phone books. Practice looking up numbers, dailing numbers, proper phone ettiquette, etc. Do you have access to laundry facilities? Practice washing & drying clothes, folding clothes, ironing,hanging clothes, etc. These are two skill areas that I found the students really need help with. My students are diverse also! I have students with severe/profound disabilities and mild/moderate disabilities. It is a challenge, but possible to modify the curriculum. Good luck!
