Clip to ScrapBook
I have found that kids will do a lot for m&m's when working with difficult children I'll often keep a bag in my lap and the very minute a student is doing what you expect give him/her an m&m and say thank you for following
directions or what ever you caught them doing.....they love the unexpected little treat....

along that line I also use charts....that I put at their seat....it holds 25 stickers five in each row....when the chart is full they get to pick a favorite candy from the candy box....I buy my candy at Sam's club so it's less expesive....i use pagckages of m&m's, hershey candy bars, lunch bag

size pagckages of gummy bears or oreo cookies. Find out what your kids love and put it in....my kids will work for JUNK FOOD! The kids earn stickers for doing the right thing....finishing work, following directions etc....what ever you need to have done can be a sticker....I really try to focus on the positive and not the negative. I figure kids get enought negative in their lives each day with out me adding to it.
