I have been using Wilson with 1st graders this year(in small groups) and also love it. It is really for kids with phonics/ decoding problems. It should not be a total reading program obviously. I like to keep it face paced and use those same cards to play "fish" and other word games. I also use whiteboards and tiles to keep it multisensory.
